Be careful of the ribbon cable at the top, it goes from the glass to under the screen and plugs on the back side of the tablet as seen in Step 11

I don't see a flap for the ZIF connector on the controller (CUH-ZCT2U) I'm working on, so I gently pulled it out with pliers. I may not have seen it, but I couldn't see a release mechanism.

Be careful that it does not pull up all the foam strips, that was my issue.

Remove green tape over connectors, you can put back on later if it still is sticky enough.

Use the iFixIt Opener. You’ll have to find a large opening, seems like near a piece of tech is easier. Once you get a firm and deep opening, keep working it down.

Be careful around the camera if it sticks, use spudger to separate.

It seems like prying underneath the cords is better and won’t damage the motherboard’s black connector piece.
