Background and Identification
The Dell Inspiron 11-3147 is apart of the Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1. This model was created in August 2015. The device is an 11" foldable laptop with a black frame and silver body. The Dell Inspiron 3000 series consists of intermediate level computers for first-time customers.
Aside from normal laptop viewing, this laptop has a unique screen that can completely fold on itself either partially or fully, forming a shape reminiscent to that of a tent or of a tablet handheld device. These different forms are called "tent mode", "tablet stand mode", and "tablet mode". The laptop will detect which mode you position it in.
The Dell Inspiron series have had a few notable issues over the years, including overheating, combusting/exploding batteries, and power supply issues. Fortunately, the 3000 series has yet to exhibit any major issues. Regardless, this device still automatically comes with a one-year warranty if purchased from Dell.
