Do you know what could be causing proximity sensor issues? I replaced the LCD but now no external sound, and the proximity sensor does not work

I have a c6603, the power off menu keeps appearing, and interrupting my use of the phone almost constantly. The power button works as normal, but the power off menu keeps appearing all the time, I dont think its damaged. When i press the turn off/shut down option it does, but then turns itself on? Please add to troubleshooting here!
