The rear panel is secured by 10 screws. Using a #00 Phillips Screwdriver, remove the ten 1.2 mm screws.

The screwdriver should be inserted at the same angle as the screws.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
For optimal performance, after completing this guide, calibrate your newly installed battery.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.

Hello,
I replaced the battery but it is not charging. I know it’s an easy repair, but I checked the pins but not sure where the problem is.

Does the laptop show any indication that it detects the battery?
I’ve replaced the battery with one I bought from here, and I believe it may be faulty? My laptop is not detecting a battery, I opened it back up and followed the guide again to make sure I did everything right, and made sure the battery cord was inserting securely, still nothing.

We took the battery out of your laptop then put it back in because it wouldnt turn on, it turns on now but the left usb ports are not getting powered, is there any way to make sure that they are powered when we get our replacement battery in the laptop?
Will this battery work for an HP Omen 15-ax250wm? It looks like it should but better safe than sorry.

I bought a battery to replace my old battery on the hp omen 15 cause it was swollen and it made the laptop die faster. When I replace it was doing the same for a while until it lasted for longer but still dies roughly fast. Any clue why it dies fast?
Isn’t the plastic plug toward the center, and screw beneath it, a problem?

There is no screw under the center plug, the bottom is just held on by clips after all 10 screws have been removed
