Screen replacement google family Link
My wife and i took our sons A12 to a Phone repair shop and they required us to disable the Google Family Link app from the phone to replace the screen is this normal and why?

My guess is they wanted to download some apps to run tests on the device to make sure it worked perfectly, and Google Family Link didn't allow that. They may also potentially be using an app to pair the new screen to the phone, but I haven't seen anyone using something like that. I would allow it, but keep in mind that if you give them your password, they may be able to access sensitive information.
