Hey guys! I've been having bad upwards stickdrift on my right stick, so I took it apart and adjusted it to nearly completely remove it. It was fine. A bit of tiny downwards drift, but barely noticeable. Not long after, the drift has returned. I going to have to rip it apart and asjust sever times a day, or am I just doing it wrong?

You can try cleaning the stick with 99.5% isopropyl alcohol, this has helped me with the same issue in the past, just dab it in with a Q-tip, and clean.

That was the first thing I tried. Before I tore it completely apart to adjust it.
I'm also getting double inputs on YouTube and Xbox dashboard of that helps.
Hm. Hard to tell, with the double inputs, did you by chance get the controller wet? or spill anything on it?
No, not that I know of. The double inputs seem to be linked to the control stick though. Whenever I adjust it to remove the drift, the double inputs go away, but they return as soon as the drift does
Could it be the sensor that I've been adjusting? If I put a new one in there, might it work normally?
A new sensor might fix the issue, however, be careful with the soldering. If there is damage to the logic board of the controller, it will persist.

I just fixed this on my elite controller and the way i fixed it was by separating the up and down green piece a little. Hard to explain but after you get your controller apart there are 2 green pieces. One for up and down the other for left and right. My conclusions is that the piece is worn out so it's loose. Separate the green piece on the right just a little bit so the black prong on the side go in a little. This worked for me and nobody told me about it

Can you use the lens cleaning wipes because it says it contains isopropyl alcohol so can I use that
