iPhone 14 not showing display after replacement.

Connected old one, still no display.

I have previously discharged battery down, managed to access torch and also let screen on up to 10m at time - even though screen was quite damaged.

I am a 'careful repairer', but of course one can easily short pins of screen connector while trying to fit it, even though I use magnified glasses to see I do it as best as possible.

Any idea, do not know the 14 at all.

This is a short version of tear-down and now I am stuck!

I have to say I noticed many ‘half’ way procedures on iFixit in the last couple of years.

What is the problem? Manufacturer’s Copyright or anything else?

Hi I have been asked to replace this screen, never done it yet.

But there is nothing about the ‘Fingerprint’ not working after screen replacement problem or procedure to have to ‘avoid’ it!Any ‘practical and functional’ help?

That alone stopped me buying a screen!!

I mean, dismounting it is the easy part!

I cannot open a SL056ZE.

I mean I opened it up to all around it, it lifts but there seems to be part of ‘blue’ plastic cover - internally - that is kind of locked into right side of PCB [looking at it with battery below !

Any ideas?

IS not there a problem with at chip on the charging flex, that causes warnings and or re-boots I have been reading about somewhere?I mean, fitting it is easy enough, but APPPPle keeps annoying customers trying to stop them going to independent shops or doing repairs themselves!
