Remove the 16 screws all together on the middle housing. That is a lot of screws.
My galaxy note 4 would not turn on. When it was opened up it had 15 screws and in the upper right hand corner there was a brass rivit. While trying to drill the display was broke.
Have you ever heard of a rivit replacing a screw by Verizon or Samsung.
The phone was a replacement under warranty.

Cut the adhesive sticker between the screen and the middle housing. It will be easier if you apply low heat degree less than 85℃. Be careful to avoid breaking touch panel.

Carefully flip the housing over and loosen the hidden tabs around the battery slot.

Loosen the middle housing and then push the front assembly--this may take a little extra effort.

Separate front assembly from middle housing successfully.

The whole front assembly comes with motherboard, USB board, cameras, LCD screen and some other small components.

The back housing comes with power & volume button, headphone jack and loudspeaker. And except loudspeaker, other parts are easy to remove.

Unlike the Galaxy S5, the Note 4 power and volume buttons are easy to remove.

Cut the adhesive between LCD screen and mid plate carefully. Especially care about the position of the flex very much.

The adhesive is in the red scale, it's strong and we had damaged the foil film on the back of the screen when cut the adhesive. Heat with a low degree will make easier.

Release the connectors from motherboard. The right one is S Pen sensor film connector and the left one is LCD screen connector.

You also can see the soft keys on the bottom side. So be careful when cut the adhesive, don't hurt that part.

At last, remove LCD screen assembly carefully.

Pry up the motherboard.

Release USB charging board from motherboard.

Finally, remove Galaxy Note 4 motherboard.
and what the names of these small circuits glued to the side of the chassis next to the volume button?

what happened Samsung? Why suddenly screw with repairers?
Samsung has gone from the most repairable telephones to one of the worst.
I'd also like to note @ Step 8. Be VERY careful of the menu respectively the return key flexes located at the bottom of the screen while seperating the LCD from the chassi. They tend to "follow with" the sceren and break.
If they do break you'll have to replace the entire charging contact in order to restore them to full function.

are the note 4 screws the same as the one in LG G4 (specifically ls991)
hi my note 4 screen was broken.. needed to replace the lcd.. now the new touch screen itself is working but the menu and back buttons aren't working properly (HOme button in the middle is alright) .. menu/back buttons light up and they do work but with some pressure.. they are not working with the ease and light touch they used to... what is wrong ?? what can I do to fix it ??

Do you mean the internal flash? It is on the backside of the mainboard, soldered directly on top of the application processor (PoP). RAM and NAND flash are in the same package.

I am extremely !#^&@@ that the bootloader is locked, and Samsung doesn't let you run your own software on your own device anymore.
Bootloader unlock is working on all devices now I think… even Verizon. There’s a huge thread over on XDA that details all the steps necessary to get temp root and unlock bootloader for Verizon devices. I managed to get a custom recovery and from there you can flash just about anything you want.

The note 4 mainly focuses on attracting the various individuals in a very short span of time. Even these individuals initiated and shown interest in buying the product for every regular interval successfully. I am also Facing Note 4 not charging problem. Finally i am fixed this problem. I refer one one website check out there.
I’m a complete novice and wanted to know if the Fast Charger is a cord, module, or some sort? I recently installed another charging port on my Galaxy Note 4 not too long ago, and when I did the Fast Charge stopped working and the charging port itself charges slowly. Thanks.

I wanted to know that WIFI and Mobile Data connectivity components are same or different in this mobile. I am facing problem with sim card data connectivity where as sometimes this function works OK and other times it does not work at all.

hey .. where you able to replace the boards ? are there any compatibility issues ?
I only did through Step 4 to clean my volume button and it cracked my digitizer and bricked my phone.
Trying to find the UV/SpO2 sensor ribbon as the latter has failed on my Note 4.
Its failing the self test but the UV sensor is evidently still fine.
Also watch out, like many phones the OLED is glass and *very* easy to damage.
Xylene supposedly can help as the sticky regains its strength once this evaporates.
