1 MacBook turns off when power cord is disconnected
When I was cleaning the MacBook Pro 15 2015 motherboard, a little smoke came out from under the warning sign of the battery and then the wireless stopped working. The MacBook sees the battery but turns off when I unplug it.
@ryugakishatu can you see anything damaged in that area? You may have to look on both sides. How did you clean your board?

@oldturkey03 I cleaned it with a small brush and there is no visible damage, but the battery board may have short-circuited because the macbook says the battery cannot be charged.

@ryugakishatu unless you can positively identify teh damaged component, I would think that replacing the battery will be the next best step.
