Battery replacement TB1T TB2T (Battery Sensor)

I’ve seen some non-oem batteries reporting steady values at Battery Sensor 1 and Battery Sensor 2, it never changes. TB1T and TB2T respectively from SMC.

I never tried ifixit batteries, does anybody knows if it happens the same ?

Unfortunately ifixit support doesn’t respond to this technical question regarding their batteries.

EDIT: with apple OEM battery this values are constantly changing as temps changes, maybe these batteries doesn’t have those sensors and output a steady value to pass the apple diagnostics ?

Sorry, I don't find the signals within the schematics of this model. Remember not all of the sensors Apple had planned went into the production model.

In addition, some lines are fused lines that if they break sets SMC off. Basically not a variable temp sensor at all. I think that is the case here.

the app in question is stats menus which reads SMC codes and makes a fancy graphic

I suppose that since you guys don't have in the schematics, ifixit batteries also doesn't provide this TB1T and TB2T temps, am i right ? if so i can [/thread]

@aertsz - I'm just one of many who answers questions here. We are all volunteers, we support the iFixit mission.

We are limited on what info we have access to as we are not Apple we are mostly repair folks repairing equipment.

I would like to check my systems to see what they report using this application where did you find it.
