How to open my Nokia N900?
I am having problems with the turning control and the virtual keyboard in my Nokia n 900. Please suggest a remedy for that.

I open mine all the time! When I get around to it I'll make a teardown or something.
Anyway, when you open the battery cover, there are four phillips screws, relatively small. I think I used PH0 screws. Then the bottom ones (close to the MicroSD) are torx, I believe they are T5? Anyway unscrew all of that, pull the display out, and the keyboard should just pop out.
Happy to see another Nokia N900 user!

Thats impossible, its in the hardware and its part of the wiring of the entire phone. To change this you must get microscopic tweezers and copious amounts of germanium and other precious metals. And an extremely small soldering iron.
And in the future you should make a new question as this is not an answer.
How can I repair the Mini USB port, it loosened after few weeks of use..just like this http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=5...

what about warranty?? - every nokia stor with a service level 2 can fix it - as long as there is still something to solder it on. to do that on your own, you would need a hot air soldering station or a smd soldering iron
http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/10/nokia... Bring it to any Nokia store or ship it to their service center. Its a known defect in N900s shipped early this year.
