If copy or scan does not look like original

Solution two: Clean the All-in-One and print a blank copy

If the scanner glass or the white underside of the lid has fingerprints, smudges, lint, dust, or other debris, this can slow performance and affect copy and scan quality. 3. Spray the cloth with the glass cleaner and wipe the scanner glass and the white scanner lid backing with the dampened cloth.
  4. Dry the scanner glass thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth or chamois to prevent spotting, and then dry the white underside of the scanner lid.
  5. Close scanner lid.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product, and then press the Power button to turn on the product.
  1. Remove any originals from the scanner glass.

  1. On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon, click All Programs, click HP, and then click HP Solution Center.
  2. Make sure that the correct product tab is selected, if you have more than one HP product.
  3. Look for any duplicate instances of the product, either on an additional tab at the top of the screen, or an additional icon on the left side of the screen. A duplicate instance has the word Copy next to the product name. For example, a duplicate tab might be called HP Officejet Pro K8600 Copy 1.
    1. If there are duplicates, click the instance with the highest number after the word Copy. For example, if the tabs HP Officejet Pro K8600 Copy 1 and HP Officejet Pro K8600 Copy 2 appear in Solution Center, select HP Officejet Pro K8600 Copy 2.
