connectors are incredibly fiddly - with some gentle twisting got away with NOT disconnecting the keyboard nor the touchpad, but couldn't avoid disconnecting the ribbon that goes over the HDD. Wasn't sure where exactly to push so broke it partially and nearly lost the black bit used to fix the connection! Still managed to find it on the floor and put it back. The damned thing is back to life! With a 512 giga SSD and 2 giga RAM.
