It’s NOT JUST HOW WELL THINGS ARE ALIGNED AND SEATED, IT’S THE DEGREE OF TIGHTNESS OF THE SCREW (on the upper burr carrier).
My machine is the Capresso 360. To achieve the proper settings FOR ALL GRINDS, I HAD TO TIGHTEN THE SCREW DOWNWARD UNTIL THE BURR ASSEMBLY WAS VERY TIGHT. BINGO!!
I now have coffee grounds as fine as powder or coarse enough for cafe filter!! Yeah!!
