You are talking about the Pxx conector in the 3DS XL that retains the flex cable coming from the touch screen. For the 3DS XL is has four differents : P10, P12, P13, and P17. Eric, If any of the following components is damage it will not turn on: broken lcd, loose or damaged wifi, camera flex broken, water or humidity in motherboard, any other short circuit. You will need good working parts to replace one at the time and discard. Good luck. The EM10 power supply filter on the motherboard may be faulty. Check this picture from one of the ifixit guides. Repairing a Nintendo DS that is not charging I could not see the white residue in your pictures but that could means some humidity in the motherboard. Check and let us know results. Regards, Juan

Definitively the main cause for this error is the wifi card: - Reason 1: Wifi card is loose > You will need to put it back in place - Reason 2: Wifi card is damage > Only way to fix it is to replace with a new one. This issue is not related to R4 flash cards, firmware or updates. Regards, Juan

Two possible causes for a black screen: - Wifi card is loose and needs to be put back in place. - LCD screen flex is detached or broken. If detached you will need to reattach it. If having a broken flex you will need a new replacement screen. Regards, Juan

If you placed the battery with wrong polarity you blow one the power line fuses (F1 or F2). Just replace it and it will be 100% functional. Regards, Juan

Hi Raoul, I am in a similar situation with a Gamepad, however in my case is quite different. I replaced the LCD and touch screen and getting response from the touch screen and sounds. In my case seems to be video related issues, in your case I recommend you to verify the wifi/bluetooth cards. If any of those are not properly seated or damaged the remote will not power on. Hi, Make a visual inspection and look for any sign of humidity in the motherboard. Some times it will be more expensive the labor of investing more than 2 hours looking for the root cause than the repair itself. My advice, whole cleaning of the motherboard and if possible ultrasonic treatment to remove any sulfation in the components. If required apply a good flux and heat (heath gun mid power) 2.5 mins p/side. Good luck and good repair. JM
