On my model M a key stopped buckling; it just feels soft. Do you know how to fix that?

Very similar for the XS90, which has the acl 0045418 v32e.

In my case the rings were actually fine, but disassembly of the valve revealed chalk buildup on the stem which hampered movement.

Cleaning that off fixed it.

How do you know it is the thermoblock.

Just thinking aloud: a thermoblock does not like something that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

This one had a power-on problem. I can’t remember if the power led came on at all.

I think the balls have to go first. That way the middle stone can slip if the grinder is blocked.

That is also what the exploded diagram that circulates online seems to show.
