I've heard of front tire ply separation causing this problem. Try setting the bike up so that the front wheel can be spun and watch for a wobble in the tread. I would also look for a wobbling rim caused by a loose spoke or bent rim. A dial indicator would help with this check.
続きを読むI found out that this player has a simple ceramic cartridge that is around 20 bucks to replace. These old cartridges disintegrate inside over time and lose the ability to pick up and interpret the record grooves into electrical impulses. The rest of the issues were mechanical problems with the turntable drive brought about by a rough cross country move. Along the way I learned how to check and clean rotary potentiometers, and am beginning to learn to read electrical schematics just enough to be dangerous.
続きを読むI have been somewhat successful using an ice cube by rubbing it fairly hard into the grooves. This method does not repair the scratch, but as I am typing this I am listening to an older record that I couldn't play through before doing this. I like second hand bargains and am playing it on an Audiotronics schoolhouse player I was able to repair. It's not exactly state of the art but it suits me.
続きを読むHow to Clear the "Unable to Print" Message from the Brother Printer Display Found this on youtube. If this doesn't work, try the one below. Access the internal maintenance mode by pressing the Menu/Set button, then press * 2 8 6 4 within 2 seconds. This should put you in the maintenance mode menu. Enter 80, then scroll down with the arrow down (round) key. You'll find an entry listed as purge count. If number is over 6000, enter 2 7 8 3. This will reset the purge count value. Then the printerwill restart, hopefully without the annoying cannot clean message.
続きを読むI had a honda V4 that had similar problems. Even after riding it was a crap shoot whether it would restart. A local bike mechanic told me that the ignition drew power through the same circuit that the starter did so when the starter was working harder the spark got weaker. He suggested rebuilding the starter so it wouldn't draw so much juice. It worked. No more hard starts. Look into it.
続きを読むI downloaded a fan control program from http://www.crystalidea.com/macs-fan-control and it has worked well so far. My problem when I pulled off a socket from my board when removing the plug attached to my optical drive thermal sensor while replacing the battery. The sensor program allowed me to choose among different sensors by listing their current operating temp and what component they were sensing.

続きを読むThere are tapered Allen bolt removal tools available that grip into stripped Allen bolts . You have to lightly drive them into place then turn the bolt out using a socket that fits the end. If you can't find them bolt extractors (left hand twisted type) would work , but they are designed to work with a drilled out bolt. If you choose them you may have to drill into the bolt with a drill about 1 to 1.5 mm smaller than the tap drill size .
続きを読むYouTube has a video showing the procedure . Just search ' how to replace a 2006 honda civic brake light bulb'. You will need a flat blade screw driver.
続きを読むMac mini Mid 2010のPRAMバッテリーの交換 Step 15 = optical drive thermal sensor wire removal. Update: I was able to boot to the repair screen by repeatedly powering up while holding command + R from the startup sound to the apple logo with timeline screen. (It took many attempts). I then Reinstalled Yosemite thus erasing the hard drive. Not a big problem. The 1 thing is the cooling fan runs constantly so I think it may be a result of the optical drive thermal sensor wire not making good contact with the board. If anyone is familiar with this problem please help. Thank you

Pulling the socket off the board seems to be a common problem. I am going to investigate making a tool to hold down the socket while prying up on the plug.
For the time being I am using an app that controls the fan speed by sampling other sensors, such as the CPU heat sink.
