Make sure to ground yourself to a metal object before attempting to remove the motherboard. Static charge build-up is dangerous to electronics and may ruin your motherboard if not properly grounded.
Remove the motherboard from the laptop body, being careful to keep the modem board from dislodging itself.
Your motherboard is now removed.
