Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 4-1470 USB/SD Card Hub Replacement

This hub, located along the side of the laptop, allows for external storage and peripherals to be connect to the computer. It is relatively simple to replace, and is not inherently necessary for most day-to-day usage of the laptop.

  1. Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 4-1470 USB/SD Card Hub Replacement, Lower Case: 手順 1、 1の画像 1

    • Ensure your computer is completely OFF before starting this guide.

    • Remove the eight 6 mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Remove the two 11 mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Pry the back cover off by inserting the plastic opening tool at the hinges and wedging it between the Back cover and the body.

    • Follow along the back edge with the plastic opening tool, lifting the cover off as you go. It is normal to hear snapping/clicking sounds as the back cover is held on by clips.

    • Remove the cover.

    • Remove the 4mm screw with a JIS #0 screwdriver.

    • Remove the ribbon cable.

    • Remove the existing USB hub and replace it with the new hub.
