Background and Identification
The Sony Handycam HDR-CX220 was released by Sony in February of 2013. This model replaced the previous popular CX190 model. This lightweight and small camcorder has key features such as Image Stabilization, Night Mode and records in High Definition. This model comes in Black, Blue, Red, and Gray. This camera has known issues such as zoom control not working, camcorder does not power on with the battery or the AC power cord plugged in.
The 2.39 Megapixel Sony Handycam HDR-Cx-220 records in 1080p on a 2.7" LCD display that rotates 270°. The camcorder features USB and HDMI ports and those cables included. The camera ranges from (1280 x 720 - 30 fps - 6Mbps) to (1920 x 1080 - 60 fps - 28Mbps).
