Black screen but sounds is playing.

I have New Nintendo 3DS that powers on, I can hear the home menu but the screen won't turn on.

I have held down A L R and up and gotten to the update screen, connected to a wifi connection and updated the system successfully.

The screen works then, both of them light up just fine. But as soon as the update is done it powers off and when I turn it back on it stays black again with sound.

The power light is blue, The battery light is on, and the rest mode light stays on and seem to flicker 3 times every 2 second -ish.

I tried letting the battery die. Tried removing it. Removing the SD card. Letting it sit powered on for an hour. Tried reseating the wifi card/ribbon inside the device.

I'm at a loss here.
