The screen on my computer is pink

Try connecting an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop's HDMI port and check what the display is like on it.

Don't forget to press the Fn+ F8 keys to toggle the display from the laptop to the external monitor.

If the display on the external monitor also has a pink tinge, then there's a problem on the motherboard and further testing using the schematics would be required to find out what's wrong.

If the external display is OK it seems like there's a problem with the laptop's LCD panel or perhaps the EDP cable has suffered some damage where it passes through the hinge to get to the lid from the motherboard.

Try moving the laptop lid slowly back and forth to check if the problem disappears and if it does try slowly moving it again to see if you can make it happen again. If you can make it stop and start then there may be a problem with the EDP cable.

If the problem remains regardless of the lid being moved, then more likely it is an LCD panel problem. If this is the case it will have to be replaced as it cannot be repaired.

What is the full model number of the laptop as shown on the product information label on the bottom of the laptop? Asking because there are 6 different LCD panels used in the X512 laptop series and you want to make sure that you're getting the correct one for your particular model variant.
