I received this exact error almost 2 months ago so I replaced the hard drive with a solid state drive, installed the operating system and was using it fine for about 7 weeks. Today, it's giving me the exact same error. I've gone into the BIOS, restored to factory and restarted, but same result. Any help is much appreciated.

It may be that the boot partition has been corrupted. As to why this has happened will have to be found out.

Create a USB recovery disc and check if you can repair the installation.

You can create the recovery USB from any known working Win10/11 PC. All you need is an 8GB flashdrive and 40-60 minutes of time.

In the host PC go to Control Panel > Recovery > create a recovery disc and follow the prompts.

When you have the USB recovery drive, start the laptop and go to BIOS and change the boot order to USB 1st boot option, insert the USB into the laptop and then save the changes in BIOS to exit and restart the laptop.

It should boot into the WRE (Windows Recovery Environment) menus.

Go to Troubleshooting > Advanced > Startup Repair and follow the prompts.

Do not select Reset this PC because if you select the wrong option next you may erase all your data as Windows will be reinstalled.

@jayeff Thank you, but I resolved this 2 weeks ago. I'm sorry I didn't update this post. It turns out the solid state drive was defective as I purchased the exact same model and size. I installed it, installed the OS and everything works perfectly. Fortunately BBY granted me a return since I was just needing the exact same model and I've been exclusively buying a lot of immediate needed parts locally through them. They took very good care of another customer, again.

The solid state drive I purchased that replaced the original hard drive turned out to be defective somehow, even though the laptop stays docked on a desk for a retired woman. I replaced the solid state drive, installed the operating system and now everything works as it should.
