Logo, spinning wheel then blank illuminated screen
I’m guessing something serious and basic has happened. I haven’t tried using the G5 for a while, don’t want to throw it away. Would it be possible to adapt it to use the screen as a monitor?

A white screen is indicative of a failed hard drive. To test boot up from an external drive or the original installation disk. Insert the disk, hit the power button, push the disk all the way in and hold down the “c” key.

Thanks. Do you know whether I would be able to use the screen as an extra monitor rather than actually fixing the device to run as a computer again?
