Next, test your HDD and system files.
Open a CMD prompt and enter ***CHKDSK C:***
That will tell you if there are problems on your system drive. I like to know b4 fixing them.
Or you could just do this - it will fix them but won't tell you if it found anything.
If there are errors, enter ***CHKDSK C: /f*** That will fix them. You must reboot for it to run.
It may take a long time to run if there are errors.
If you have other drives, run the command on those also. ***CHSDSK D: /f*** etc.
When run on other drives (the fix ***/f*** flag), it will tell you if it found errors when it finishes.
Then go back to the CMD prompt as admin and enter ***SFC /SCANNOW***

If it isn't back to normal, then you need to look for viruses.
