Hi, David!
Congratulations, very Nice Tear Down!
I wish to hear something about the "Light Peak". So, let's wait for the new release of the Mac PRO. I hope we could see some "new" hardware.
Apple is just refreshing the "old decade" style CPU + GPU.
I was wondering for Intel Core i5 and NVidia GTX 480M.
May be in the new refresh of the iMac 27". But without the Light Peak, no chance! I will keep waiting for next years long!!!
Any way, thanks for your great collaboration!
I could learn that the new "Mac mini" is more for a MacBook than ever!!! It could follow the steps of the MacBook Pro as well, if Apple give some more minimal "space"
How does the STM-LIS331DLH Accelerometer works? Is the only electronic sensors or those it have some micro-mechanical parts?
"DisplayPort and PCIe connections" Could it be an interconnection for the 30-Pin adapter or its is just inside the logic board?
Is there any possibility to compare "side by side' the iPad Logic Board with the iPhone/iPod??? Please would be a great view!!!
Another question: Could the A4 fit at the iPhone Logic Board? What could we expect for the New iPhone 4G???
Congratulations!!!
I Love the iFixit!!! It's is always a pleasure to follow the site!!!
Ok, so I presume there is a lot of free sapce to make some mookup's in the iPad as like as to "add" a full USB connector and also a SD Card or MicroSD card connector.
So, is there any body available to please us with a "How To"???
Would be nice!!!
Best regards
Paulo Magrani
Yep! There it is! Bigger, wider and brighter!
I cannot wait for the 21.5" iMac teardown comparison to this regarding the mDP video-in capabilities. Great job!!! Very nice and impressive work :)
"DisplayPort has Direct Drive"
Isn´t it possible to make a mDP "HUB" by the DisplayPort connector shown on this picture?
Why is the 21.5" iMac does not have video-in capabilities? What is the difference in those two MotherBoards?
