In these days I recommend a smartphone or digital camera with slow motion capabilities. Make a slo-mo video of the shutter with known fps, count the frames between the two curtains reaching the same point and you can calculate the shutter speed. Do the calculation for points at the start and at the end of the movement to catch uneven exposure.

I know some repair technicians here in Germany but that's probably not useful, depending on where you live.

Da hatte ich meinen Spiegel damals auch her (steht ja auch im Text). Die Preise haben anscheinend deutlich angezogen, sind aber immernoch völlig okay (damals habe ich lächerliche 9€ netto plus Versand bezahlt). Wahrscheinlich haben sie gemerkt, dass sie für unsere einzelnen Minispiegel eine Art Mindermengenzuschlag nehmen müssen, um nicht draufzulegen. Aber erfreulich, dass sie lieber diesen Weg gehen, als sich vom sicher nicht sehr lukrativen Markt der Einzelstücke für Privatkunden zurückzuziehen.

Sorry for replying late. You’ll find some M1.4mm, M1.6mm and M1.7mm (and bigger) screws e.g. at micro-tools, probably also at some watchmaker supply or even ebay. Remember that at this tiny size, determining the correct size can be difficult, even with calipers or micrometer screws. Screws always have an outer diameter slightly smaller than the nominal size (and nuts’ inner diameter is even smaller), so it’s easy to mistake e.g. an M1.7 screw for an M1.7 one.

No, it’s the opposite with these cameras: You have to set the shutter speed before cocking the shutter.
