The last thing you should do is a factory reset if you're without a remote!! My remote doesn't work, but I could at least get into my firestick if I had a usb keyboard. If you plug an OTG cable into it, you can use a mouse or keyboard to select wifi. I've got a mouse plugged in, and can select network, but since there's no cursor showing where the mouse is, I can't get the password typed in! I thought about just typing anything I could manage to hit, then change the PW on my router to that & connect, but I never can actually click on the stupid connect button on the firestick screen!!
