mid 2012 Macbook Pro, running Mojave 10.14.6. I replaced both speakers after a bad hack I tried didn't work so well. (putting glue around the left speaker to hopefully fix where the cone had been cracked) Anyway, I just bought some replacement Apple speakers from the same model, and my right side seems louder, BUT when I move the balance to the left side, suddenly it sounds as loud as the right side..? On this model, the right side speaker also has the sub connected to it, which could be why it seems louder. Not sure I want to remove the logic board and cables again, and try to put the old left side speaker in to test it. Anyone notice this?
