School: University of California, Davis
Major: Mechanical Engineering. I choose this major because I love seeing how things work and how moving parts work together to produce different movements.
Aspirations: I hope to work in the robotics field or work in mechanical design. I am still debating whether to pursue a PhD so I could become a professor.
Skills: I am experienced with 3D modeling and I have some experience with coding in C++,Python, and Matlab.
Projects: I worked with two others to create an adaptive bike light. This bike light automatically turns on when its night, flashes red when a car is coming, and angles the light (when oncoming traffic is detected) towards the road to not blind oncoming drivers. Since we needed to present it inside a building we packed all the wiring to be portable
I am currently part of a research team here on Davis and the goal is to create an autonomous RC car.
Repair Experience: The only notable thing I have fixed was a water pump for a wet tile saw. My dad was planning to throw the motor away but since he was gonna throw it away, I decided to open it up and see what I could do. I ended up being successful in fixing it.
Hobbies: I like to play games and piano. I also have two cats.
