Ok I know this is old but my controller was doing the same thing and whatever I did seemed to fix it so I’m going to post exactly what I did leading up to it working again. I hit it (Ik lmao) I held it down then stopped and did this a few times I blew into the button (this is what I’m assuming worked the best) I also pried on it for a second with my finger but I don’t think it did anything and it could’ve easily messed it up worse so I’d recommend not doing that. This most likely won’t work for everybody but it’s definitely worth a shot if the button itself isn’t broken and it’s just “phantom pressing” itself over and over.
