I had some of the same problems with my laptop. The first thing is that the headset might not be compatible with the device. I know that some headsets can act very weird with systems. If you’re certain that the mic input is coming from your headset mic and it works fine on another computer you might need to check most everything to do with either the headset itself or the computer audio drivers and stuff like that. I fixed mine by just searching for latest driver for my realtek audio and then had to delete any remnants of bluetooth devices that seemed to cause the problem. Hope something helped!
