Your backlight is not functioning. Give us the model off the TV, and we can determine if parts are available, and cost. Typically when the backlight stops working, the power supply for the back light has failed. There may also be one or more LED strips that are bad. If you are handy with a screwdriver, this is possible to repair, again assuming parts are available. The power supply for a Logik LCD looks like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/POWER-SUPPLY-BOARD-17IPS60-3-20598195-LOGIK-L29HE12/264664701330?hash=item3d9f3ed992...

続きを読むThis is an AV7 Electrolytic capacitor. 62uF @ 11V. Look for it under the part number TEPSLB21A626MHF8R Here is an eBay link, but there are many other places where you can find this https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-x-100-New-TEPSLB21A626MHF8R-62UF-11V-Chipset/123865636789?hash=item1cd6f79fb5...
続きを読むSome old players actually used to slant the tape. Take a look at the spindles that drive the tape, and see if they are fully engaged or not. If they are not, there may be something bent preventing the tape from loading fully. My local goodwill gets VCR all the time, and they are cheap. If you’re not getting very far with fixing this one, see if you can find another one. Make sure you bring a tape along that you don’t care about, and test it first before you buy it.
続きを読むThere is kinda a catch 22 with this version Roomba. When the battery died, it was probably in the middle of something, and now that you have a good battery, it’s trying to finish what it was doing, but the battery isn’t charged, and it won’t charge the battery until it finished what it was doing. I would charge the battery outside of the Roomba. This is a 14.4V battery, and you can charge it with a 12V walwart. Don’t use one that supplies more the 500mA, as you don’t want to charge it too fast, and it should be over 200mA. I would use an older style linear walwart, as these do not have regulation circuits in them, and a 12V one will show 15V or more. This is good, as you want it above 14.4V If you look at the terminals, there are 3 of them. I think the positive line is on the outside, I know the center one is the sensor, and do not hook anything to this one, and the inside one is negative. Use a meter to check this before you charge it, as there should be enough voltage in it to tell it’s polarity. You’ll...

続きを読むIt sounds like the +12V is missing. Make sure the voltage setting is correct, and re-check your connections. If you have a meter, probe the power connector to the hard drive, with negative on the chassis (or a black wire). You should have +12V DC on the yellow wire, and +5V DC on the red. Bottom line if it’s missing, either the power supply is bad, or shorted out.
続きを読むI don’t know what that sound means. It’s not a normal error message. I’ve fixed these before, and generally it’s a stuck motor or sensor blocked with dirt. Watch this video, and put your Roomba in the test mode, and start running the tests to point in a certain direction, and come back here with your results. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Thomnr6l...
