I had the same problem. Apple actually changed my trackpad/keyboard 3 times in a row before realising they couldn't do anything. They then understood it was a broader problem affecting all new 15'macbook pro. They explained to me that the haptic feedback does not cover the whole area of the trackpad. There is no fix.
