I hope I won't be fried on here for saying this, but CCleaner is a worthy tool for cleaning up the Windows registry of some junk that older programs leave in there. I've done MANY a clean and it never messed up my system (however let it backup the registry first!!). It also allows you to clean up the cache of different programs, which will also speed things up. There will probably always be the occasional system that will have to be reformatted because it's really suffering from bit rot. But to make that installation go faster, slip-stream a Windows XP CD with the latest updates and store that installation on a USB key to make the installation a breeze. Hope this helps. T.J. Barber
続きを読むDid you check the jumper switch on the drive? I had an iMac G3 that did almost the same thing, and it turned out that I set them completely wrong. If you have the drive already in the laptop, then it doesn't really matter what the model is. But I'm trying to figure out what you mean by "model". 12" PowerBook G4 1.33 Ghz is your model... Here's a page that talks about jumper cables/switches: http://www.onlinecomputertips.com/hardwa...
続きを読むWell, that all depends on how much space you need. If you're a video editor, I'd go with 500GB or more. 7,200RPM is much faster too. And no, you can't go with 4GB. That model of a MacBook Pro can only stand 3GB. Have fun! T.J.B.
続きを読むI recommend taking the whole thing apart and let each part sit in rice to soak up any remaining water. But it sounds like you tried turning it on after it was soaked, so you very well may have shorted out the motherboard and/or ruined the battery. Try doing what I said, but even then you might be replacing parts (if not the whole phone).
