Remove the USB‑C port cover

  • Throughout this repair, keep track of each screw and make sure it goes back exactly where it came from.

  • While the Pixel 8 Pro uses Torx Plus screws, standard Torx bits will also work. Make sure to apply constant, downward force to prevent stripping.

  • Use a T3 Torx screwdriver to remove the two 5 mm‑long 3IP Torx Plus screws securing the USB‑C port cover.

  • Remove the cover.

Halte während der gesamten Reparatur die Schrauben gut geordnet und achte darauf, dass alle an ihren ursprünglichen Ort zurück kommen.

Im Pixel 8 Pro werden Torx Plus Schrauben verwendet, aber normale Torx Bits funktionieren auch. Drücke beim Herausdrehen fest und gleichmäßig nach unten, damit der Schraubenkopf nicht beschädigt wird.

Entferne die beiden 5 mm langen 3IP Torx Plus Schrauben, mit denen die Abdeckung des USB-C-Anschlusses befestigt ist.

Entferne die Abdeckung.
