In the following steps, you will use a heat gun to soften the adhesive securing the underside of the LCD panel to the inner case. The area the adhesive is applied to is shown in red in the second picture (with the LCD removed).
Use your heat gun to soften the adhesive under the LCD panel along its left edge.
