Unfasten the logic board cover

  • While the Pixel 7a uses Torx Plus screws, standard Torx drivers may still work. If your kit came with standard Torx bits, use the T2 bit to remove 1IP Torx Plus screws, and the T3 Torx bit to remove 3IP Torx Plus screws. Make sure to apply constant, downward force to prevent stripping.

  • Use a 3IP Torx Plus driver to remove the thirteen 4.3 mm screws securing the logic board cover.

  • Use a 1IP Torx Plus driver to remove the 1.5 mm screw securing the right edge of the cover.

Pixel 7aにはトルクスプラスネジが使われていますが、通常のトルクスドライバーでもなんとか対応できるかも知れません。お使いのキットに通常のトルクスドライバービットが付属していた場合は、1IPトルクスプラスネジを外すためにT2ビット、3IPトルクスプラスネジを外すためにT3ビットを使って下さい。ネジが潰れないように、常に下向きに力を加えてください。

3IPトルクスプラスドライバーを使用して、ロジックボードカバーを固定している13本の4.3 mm 3IPトルクスプラスネジを取り外します。

1IPトルクスプラスドライバーを使用して、カバーの右端を固定している1.5 mm 1IPトルクスプラスネジを取り外します。
