This guide requires minimal teardown and can be used to replace the plastic back case of the device.

    • Remove the battery by sliding it down the rails to which it is connected.

    • Find a flat head or Phillips head screwdriver.

    • Insert the screwdriver into the holes in the plastic rod connecting the key pad guard to the rear casing.

    • Use the screwdriver to push the rods towards each other until they click out of their locked position.

    • Note: This may require a large amount of force.

    • Slide off the antenna guard and locate the four clips on the exterior of the rear casing.

    • Simultaneously push the clips outward while lifting the old rear casing away from the rest of the device.

    • Locate the four holes on the new rear casing.

    • Align the holes in the new rear casing with the clips attached the to front casing.

    • Simultaneously insert all four clips.

    • Push down firmly until you hear the clips click into place.

    • Find a thin and sturdy screwdriver.

    • Insert the screwdriver into the holes in the plastic rod connecting the new key pad guard to the rear casing.

    • Use the screwdriver to push the rods away from each other until they click into their locked position.

    • Note: This may require a large amount of force.
