Did this step by step, making sure not to touch the lense. Although, quality of photos are worse than before for some reason

Maybe the new lens is of a lower quality?

My lens hasn't broken it just has a smudge on the inside, can you do this and then use the same glue to put the lens back on. Or do you still recommend replacing the entire lens?

Hi Luke, Sorry for the late response. I had not seen your reply. It’s definitely going to be hard if you want to remove the glass in one piece.
