Ultimate Ears is an American custom speaker, earphone, and in-ear monitor (IEM) manufacturer. Ultimate Ears was acquired by Logitech in August 2008 and now operates as a subsidiary.

The Wonderboom from Ultimate Ears is a portable Bluetooth speaker that was released in 2017. The Wonderboom has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning you really can fully submerge it in water without having to worry. The Wonderboom can be submerged 1 meter in water for up to 30 minutes. The Wonderboom also boasts a battery life of 10 hours, meaning users don’t have to worry about their music giving out before the day’s end. Wonderbooms can also be paired together to create a more comprehensive sound experience.

The Wonderboom was praised for its portability and was said to have a decent amount of bass for the speaker’s size. One drawback is that the Wonderboom lacks speakerphone capabilities. It doesn’t have a built-in mic, so users can’t use the speaker to talk on the phone. The Wonderboom had an original list price of $100, but, as of summer 2020, the list price has fallen to $70 on Amazon.

UE Wonderbooms are cylindrical in shape. Wonderbooms have large volume controls (+ and -) on their exterior in true UE fashion. Wonderbooms also have a carrying hook. They come in a variety of colors, including black, purple, red, pink, and gray.
