How do I repair this?
I’ve been trying to change out this AC line and when it came out it gave me trouble. Now I’m trying to thread it back together and this one won’t thread back in. I’ve tried to use a file and I have no idea

if it unscrewed without too much trouble, it should screw back is - however, it is easy to get it cross threaded and maybe that is what happened. If there isn't any sign of damaged threads keep trying untill it screws without jamming. If the threads are damaged, you will have to clean them up with a die and/or tap and not get any filings into the tube.

Yeah it won’t go back on at all. I think the cap it stripped or something. Anything I can buy to merge it together or a splice?
