Regressing the gear case
What is the procedure to regressed the gear case on my circular saw,and what kind of grease do I need?

Circular saws with the motor perpendicular to the blade are direct drive - IE, the blade is attached to the motor shaft. There are no gears. apparently, there are units that have the motor behind the blade, but I have never seen one. Those have a worm drive.
