My TV Does not Start

Hey Team,

My MI 4A TV is neither starting from the remote nor from the power button of the TV. The red light always keeps on burning in the TV, which used to turn off after starting the TV, but now it does not turn off.

@devsharma59131 that is a little known TV and of course schematics etc. are not available. WE would need to see your boards. Remove the back cover from your TV and take a look at all the boards. Check for obviously damaged components. Like blackened, charred or missing components. Post some good pictures of each board as well as one of the complete layout, so we can see what you see.

Since the red power LED light is on, that would mean your power board supplies the standby voltage. It could be an issue with the main board not "telling" the power board to turn on. For that you would have to measure the voltages on the connector from the power board to the main board cable.

Any TV with a remote has the internal remote control circuit powered all the time (red LED indicator on). When triggered, it closes a relay or solid state switch that is usually on the power board (red LED off). The power switch will trigger that as well as a signal from the remote. Therefore the likely cause would be the power board, but may be the remote receiver which is normally separate.

At any rate, it requires opening up the TV and making some tests. But, without service info it will amount to parts jockeying to find the right part - and it may be just a bad connection.
