jeff, it is in the power box inside the engine compartment. Cooling fan relay is number 8. You also want to check the radiator cooling fan thermoswitch. That is the one on the thermostat housing and it controls the fan. Your Mazda has actually three sensors. One for the cooling fan, one to send a signal to the gauge, and one to send the signal to the ecu.
