Why is my phone not turning on after screen replacement

Hi I recently dropped my Google pixel, screen cracked. I got a replacement screen, but when I pressed the power button the phone just vibrates and doesn't actually turn on. I tried charging thinking the battery was dead. I connected it to my computer...nothing.
