So this is an old post but I have a Samsung A23 5g A236U and I did a screen repair and had the customer install a screen blue with text. I tried 2 different screen housings and the same thing turned out the issue was the volume up and down buttons were short so it would boot into the customer download screen every time. Test continuity on flex cable for Volume, if you have continuity with out pressing the button the button flex is bad.
