Around a year ago my 3ds started having this problem where despite being fully charged when I press the power button it doesn't turn on immediately after, taking sometimes up to 15 min instead and then turns off a few minutes later without the power button having been pressed, and even when I do press it, it doesn't turn off. In some other cases it even turns on and off randomly.
A month or so after the problem showed up I noticed the battery had gotten swollen so I came to the conclusion that maybe the issue had been simplu caused by the battery being old, so I decided to buy a completely new battery to replace the old one.
After having replaced the battery, the console worked perfectly as intended for 5 months until around 2/3 weeks ago when the exact same issue reappeared except the battery isn't swollen. Could it be that I just got unlucky and possibly received a faulty battery so I just need a new one or could the issue be something else?
