@michael45594 could be a bad headphone jack or a bad board. I would go ahead and replace the Sub board (charging board) which holds the headphone jack. Use soemthing like this guide [guide|154307] to change it. Step 6 shows you the removal.

When you order a replacement, make sure that you get a charging board that it appropriate for your Version of the A12.
