Have you checked the status of the WLAN network adapter in ''Device Manager > Network Adapters'' i.e. not installed correctly (yellow exclamation mark), disabled (red cross) or not listed at all?
If there's no appearance in Device Manager, check if the WLAN adapter has been enabled in BIOS.
If there's no WLAN enable/disable setting in BIOS check if the WLAN module is missing from the laptop.

If there's none there or if perhaps it is faulty at the top of the page you'll find the model numbers of the 3 WLAN adapters compatible with the laptop. Two have Bluetooth capability as well and one doesn't so be aware of that if you need a replacement. Search online using the ''part number only'' to find suppliers that suit you best.
